Yellow mustard contains fiber, vitamins, minerals, proteins which contribute to good health and well-being. Beside its use in food, it also has numerous other health benefits which is why it can be used to sooth sore throats, prevent cancer and many other health conditions. Mix all the ingredients well and leave it for several minutes to cool. After that, just gargle the mixture which will help you soothe the sore throat.

According to many researchers, the compound found in mustard called allyl isothocianate (AITC) can fight cancer. It has the ability to inhibit cancer growth, particularly when it comes to bladder cancer. They also believe that this compound can eve cure cancer once and for all.

Relax Tired Muscles

Mustard is also an excellent solution for treating achy muscles. If you experience pain in the muscles all over the body, you should infuse mustard in your bath. Just mix 2 tbsp of mustard and 1 tbsp of Epsom Salt. The mustard will amplify the therapeutic properties of the epsom salts, resulting in relaxed muscles.

On the other hand, if you experience pain in one area, for instance in the lower back, you need to prepare a paste. Just mix one part mustard seed to two parts flour, and add water until it becomes a thick paste. Apply it onto one side of a cheesecloth and fold.
